Roma Show Society President Allen Clark said it will be another big year for the show which has been going for 124 years,  with an all new entertainment line up that will excite show goers. 

"We are really excited about this year's event with a whole new entertainment line up, some new judging sections and a revamped ring events schedule", he said.  "For those adults who like plenty of entertainment we have the Australian Travelling Fishing Show, Rabobank Forum and special guest Pat Drummond (formerly of the Naked Poets band), and for the kids we have the new Rainbow Eco Show.

"We also have the traditional fireworks on Saturday night sponsored by Origin and returning from 2008 is the awesome Extreme Fmx Air stunt bike show that will be running both Friday and Saturday night.

Mr Clarke said the Australian Travelling Fishing Show is a must see fo all anglers who love to fish in the south west.  "Brett Thomson and Michael Cooke will demonstrate the many different types of fishing lures on today's market and how the fish actually react to them.  What's massive about this demonstration is that it is done in front of a huge Supertank giving spectators a fish's eye view from a 15 metre long perspecx mobile fish tank."

Mr Clark said this year will also see the return of the Stud Cattle as well as all the other favourite judging sections including Dressage; Showjumping; Stud Sheep; Wool; Sheep Dog Trials; Cattle Dog Trials; Poultry; Caged Birds; Pigeons; Boer Goats; Art; Handicrafts; Cookery; Decorated Iced Cakes; Horticulture; Farm & Garden; Photography; Youth Exhibits; Handwriting and an all new Guinea Pigs section.

"It's going to be a great show, so please come out and check the new entertainment sections, grab a show bag and enjoy a ride at sideshow alley and have fun catching up with all your mates."
