Windows of St Pauls
St Paul's Anglican Church has outstanding examples of Stained Glass and Leadlight windows. There are many styles in the 50 window panels to be viewed. The oldest windows date back to 1876. Artists from Australia and England have designed and constructed the windows.
The first Anglican Church in Roma (wooden) was built on the present site and opened on the 17th October 1875. The present Church (constructed from cement bllocks) was opened on the 14th of November, 1915. The cement blocks were made by hand on the Church site. The block making machine has been restored and is on display inside the Church.
St Paul's also has a working Pipe Organ purchased in 1927. It has 567 working pipes and is the only one in Western Queensland.
